CSAA Insurance Group’s advertising campaign featuring Rick Astley spans America

New video for Rick Astley in an amazing campaign that goes LIVE today

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Oga. 30, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — CSAA Insurance Group’s latest campaign is a 1980s British legend Rick Astley, like everything else that the singer has done so well, has been very successful. After the start August 15th, the campaign went viral, reaching 2.5 million views in just a few days with the numbers continuing to grow. And, the campaign is not over yet, with the release today of a new 30 seconds movie.

The new video has a fun twist on Rick “Rickrolling” himself, plus, a few “inside” moments especially for fans of the music video. For example, the date on Rick’s phone is July 27 and time counts 7:27 p.m: July 27 and the anniversary of the artist’s song, “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

One of the most important factors in the success of the campaign has been the release of the latest version of the Biography of Rick Astley the famous 1987 song “I Won’t Let You Go.” The new video – which has gained almost 3 million views on YouTube and over 6 million views on TikTok so far – pays tribute to the pioneers while spreading the good news of InsurAAance – insurance that never gives up!

In addition to the video, the secret QR codes are included Biography of Rick Astley iconic hair, spread across the country on television, billboards, walls, and stadiums. They will also appear on the air via on-air advertising, and each one contributes their knowledge Rick Astley scene: “Rickroll.” Anyone can check the code and see for themselves the recreated music video.
