Green Bay Packers and American Family Insurance Group Announce Return of DreamDrive – OnFocus

The Green Bay Packers and American Family Insurance on Wednesday celebrated the official opening of the American Family Insurance DreamDrive training camp, which made a formal return after a two-year hiatus.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday morning to mark the occasion Dream Drive, specially designed for Packers fans and families at training camp, based on the training camp tradition of Packers players riding kids bikes to and from training camp. After two years of changes due to the pandemic, this unique way for players to travel to practice and interact with some of the Packers’ youngest fans is back this year.

Five Dream Fleet bikes, each celebrating a different piece of Wisconsin’s rich heritage, were introduced for another year at a ribbon cutting, all sponsored by the Packers and American Family Insurance. The Dream Fleet bikes include the Cow Cruiser, Cheddar Chariot, Packers Tailgate Trailblazer, Dream Driver and Farm and Ranch Rider.

Several children were selected by American Family Insurance to have the opportunity to ride special bikes to try out with the players. The kids had the opportunity to meet the current players and received a Packers / American Family Insurance bike helmet with a photo of the player who rode their bike for the test.

Children are encouraged to participate in DreamDrive throughout the Training Camp over the next few weeks by bringing their bikes to be prepared in accordance with the old tradition. The bike course has been modified this year due to construction taking place on the east side of Lambeau Field.

“We want to inspire dreams, and being associated with a team and a playground where so many dreams have been conceived and realized is very rewarding,” said Dan Kelly, chief insurance officer of American Family Insurance. “We are excited to celebrate the opening of DreamDrive, and to see the participation in this great community and community tradition return to normal after two years.”

DreamDrive is part of a partnership between the Packers and Madison Insurance Company, which has been affiliated with the team since 2005. The partnership also includes America’s Family Insurance Portal East side of the stadium, allowing fans easy access to the Lambeau Field Atrium.
