MAPFRE Currently in Massachusetts

According to a recent report on the Commercial Auto Insurance market in the Commonwealth, there were approximately 193 companies licensed to write auto insurance.

As confirmed in our latest 2021 New England Market Share Report published by the NAIC, MAPFRE continues to be the largest commercial insurer in Massachusetts in 2022. As of May 2022 it had $63,541,251 in premiums representing a market share of 14.43%.

Turning to the state’s auto insurance companies, seven of the top 10 auto carriers operating in the Commonwealth continue to be located in Massachusetts. The following is a complete list of Commercial Auto insurance companies with the largest market share in Massachusetts through May 2022.
