KNOXVILLE, Tenn. and CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Sept. 06, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Rains Insurance, Inc. (“Rain”), a SmartBank company, announced today that it has acquired the Chattanooga property. , TN-based Sunbelt Group, LLC (“Sunbelt”). The project will begin on September 1, 2022 and is the first acquisition of an independent insurance agency by Rains.

Sunbelt, founded in 1984, is an independent, full-service insurance company that offers personal and commercial insurance as well as personal injury and life and health insurance. In addition, Sunbelt has a dedicated auto insurance department that focuses their attention on your auto insurance needs.
