ATLANTA, Oga. 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association (LIDMA) is now accepting nominations for its prestigious “Innovation Award” for life insurance companies, individuals, or vendors, who are fueling technology and innovation that is creating value. results within the life insurance marketing process, all with the goal of protecting many families. The last date of nomination is August 19.

Our 2022 Innovation Award promises to promote the best!

Once nominations are received, the finalists will be required to submit a short two-minute video on their company’s innovation by September 30. The Innovation Award winner will be announced through a “People’s Choice” vote by members in attendance at LIDMA’s. The Fall Meeting & Business Showcase will be held October 16-19, 2022, at Westdrift Manhattan Beach in Manhattan Beach, California.

“InsurTech’s innovations, which focus on making the life insurance buying process easier and more accessible, are driving the historic changes we are seeing in the distribution of life insurance,” said the LIDMA President. Nicole Buckenmeyer. “Our LIDMA members are at the forefront of making life insurance purchases faster and easier, and our 2022 Innovation Award promises to promote the best and announce the winner at our Fall meeting.”

The “Innovation Award” was inspired by LIDMA’s eProcess management systems that are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our customers in collaboration with LIDMA’s affiliated insurers, service providers, attorneys, and vendors. LIDMA’s eProcess reduces costs for carriers and service providers and streamlines procurement and customer fulfillment.

Last year’s winner, Human API’s Health Intelligence Platform, was selected by the LIDMA panel from an outstanding group of finalists including Insurance Technologies, Insureio Technologies, Inc., Techficient Holdings and InsurAware.

LIDMA Innovation Award Criteria and Procedures

Successful or selected applicants must demonstrate how they are expanding the market, reducing cycle time, digitizing processes that were difficult and manual, while strengthening the relationship of consumers with our company and its positive goal of protecting money.

To determine the finalists for the Innovation Award, LIDMA will conduct a thorough review to ensure that each applicant’s technological approach is applicable to the market or development. Finalists will be notified after submission of work and other requirements to submit a short video on their new technology no later than September 30. Finalists will be presented at the LIDMA Fall Meeting & Business Showcase event. October 16-19, 2022. The presentation of the finalists and the “People’s Choice” voting will be conducted on LIDMA’s mobile application during the conference. The winner of the Innovation Award will be announced on this website at the end of the LIDMA Fall Meeting & Business Showcase.
